I’m not gonna buy it, but it’s pretty cool.

I have a 1985 step side that was a PG&E truck, last year of those step sides with wood beds. It’s up in MT though, but it’s mine.

It’ obviously worth 50k to a rich roadkill superfan.

Same thing is going to happen as every time he tries to ebay one of the roadkill vehicles. It gets bid up to crazy high levels, then all the top bidders back out because they just wanted the thrill of being the high bidder and either didn’t have or didn’t actually want to spend the money to own it.

$50k for this: “The engine has a leanout problem at high rpm that causes it to nose over—perhaps fuel starvation, I have not bothered to troubleshoot it. The tach does not work. The rear suspension fabrication is not that good. The spool in the rearend is pretty annoying to drive around on the street. The rear axle is from a ‘78 F100 and still has the brakes from that truck, and they barely work at all. Both window regulators have the crank-handle splines wrecked by Vise Grips. The windshield is pocked by chop-saw sparks.” lol

I’m quite surprised he put it up for sale on Ebay. I figured one of his friends or coworkers would buy it from him and keep it in the family. Not sure if he’s just looking to cash out on it or what.
The truck itself is probably worth 25k or so. It’s got lots of nice parts on it.
